1. A Little Gas
While walking in the convent a priest passed one of the nuns and noticed she was gaining a little weight. “Gaining a little weight, are we? Sister Angela?” he asked.
“No father, its just a little gas”, she replied.
A month or two later the priest noticed she had gained a little more weight.
“Gaining some weight are we Sister Angela”, asked the priest.
No Father, just a little gas, she again replied.
A couple of months later, the priest noticed Sister Angela pushing a baby carriage through the convent. Approaching her, he leaned over, looked in the carriage and said, “My, what a cute little fart”
2. Management Training Program
A group of junior-level executives were participating in a management-training program. The seminar leader pounded home his point about the need to make decisions and take action on these decisions.
"For instance," he said, "if you had five frogs on a log and three of them decided to jump, how many frogs would you have left on the log?"
The answers from the group were unanimous: "Two."
"Wrong," replied the speaker, "there would still be five because there is a difference between deciding to jump and jumping
3. A Lawyer’s deal with the devil
An aspiring young lawyer was sitting in her office late one night, when Satan appeared before her. The Devil told the lawyer "I have a proposition for you."
"You can win every case you try for the rest of your life. Your clients will adore you, your colleagues will stand in awe of you, and you will make embarrassing sums of money. All I want in exchange is your your husband's soul, your children's souls, the souls of your parents, grandparents, and the souls of all your friends and law partners."
The lawyer ponders this for a moment, then finally asks: "So, what's the catch?"

Dear Grand-daughter,
The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus bumper sticker.
I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting..
So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.
Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed.
I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed.
It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have
noticed.
I found that lots of people love Jesus!
While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, 'For the love of God!' 'Go! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, GO!'
What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus!
Everyone started honking!
I just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all those loving people.
I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love!
There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a sunny beach.
I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air.
I asked my young teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant.
He said it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something.
Well, I have never met anyone from Hawaii , so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign right back.
My grandson burst out laughing.
Why even he was enjoying this religious experience!!
A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me.
I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the light
had changed.
So, grinning, I waved at all my brothers and sisters, and drove on through the intersection.
I noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after all the love we had shared.
So I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!!
Will write again soon,
Love, Grandma

I actually gave this topic a strenuous thought, as new writer although I have great love for writing but I know that something was missing excuse my sincere and modest self but these are difficulties or constraint some of us do face as beginners, I had numerous topics for this article and colliding ones that didn’t really relate with content but I kept on working, I enquired from some authors that gave tips on ways and guidelines to creating a topic and contents that relate with the topic. This was step in positive direction and it really did help. Beside, more constructive and vital tips to writing a good article I welcome from you my encouraging readers.
Well some readers might stumble across my article might consider this very good but I wouldn't take that

The benefiting factor about the praise and critics and indifference are the really tips and guide lines to correction, to reflection, and also guide your review, it makes you search deep that brings the best in you. People’s opinion really does counts no matter how it affects your work. I feel appreciated that I am contributing a bit if not much to the world of readers and those that might be searching for related topics which may be a solution to there problem, this may be school project, researches, information, historical document that is made available for other to use.
The internet and especially sites that enable this opportunity available are the platform that also enables writers like us to display or showcase our ability that are in abundance. This chance couldn't have come in a better time. These also serve as opportunity for financial gain as well considering the
Techniques behind it which is worthy information some of us are not aware of except you are well informed. The joy of these is overwhelming and I have come to know a lot of people all over the world by meeting in forums, seminars, community asking related question to topics, issues as they affect our personal life and environment at large. The opportunity of this magnitude is really enormous that just little percentage of people uses these, while others are just playing doubting Mustapha. Cultivating the habit of reading and writing is an immense potential which makes us aware and also keeps us informed about events in our world. SECRETS AND STEPS TO SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP
Hello there my pleasant readers, I know you are wondering why I have chosen this issue to deliberate on this day.
A friend invited me to read an article he had written which I find really fascinating and intriguing, beside, some aspect of the article were mind bugging and it also aroused
Some questionable content.
To this regard, I have chosen to reply him from my own point of rational believe and also to
Enlighten some of us that are searching for answers to the very problem we face in our every day relationships, affairs, love, date, and more of such. Relationship or whatever word you use to define it, it's very a broad issue that covers the very breath of our lives, in our daily activities, place work, clubs where we have to refresh and catch up with events with old buddies. Relationship is also in categories and they are either casual or serious, it just depends on how you place them.
He exclaimed good ridings to bad nonsense, relationship sucks, and it is for suckers and feeble minded people.
The scene sparked some announce in us when our friend unfolded to us what has just transpired between him and the girl of his dreams, I am sorry, can't continue with these affair, you are not meant for me, you are just too perfect and I can't match up with you was the hurting word from the lady my friend had all hopes of settling down with.
All my friend could ask was, why? Why? Why? What have I done wrong, the devastating blow really got him unaware and all my friend could do was to break down and cry likes a little baby.
It hurts really, it does hurt badly. This story is among many we experience most times in our lives
I have also been in relationships (plural), and from my experiences, this are just some observation and facts I have learnt from it.
1. OBSERVATION AND CONSIDERATION---- like I mentioned above, relationship is a form of unconscious business that we get into because of the natural affection, admiration, infatuation love and more of such.
often times we allow our unconscious impulse guide to doing things we really don't have much information guiding us, the gradual feeling, intoxicating our thoughts and reasoning beclouds our conscious awareness that at a point we ought to really review and put the inappropriate things of our relationship into the right perspective if we want that relationship to work just we run business.
There are numerous of things that might seem wrong or is actually wrong with the affair, it can only work when the persons involved work out things that might pose as a problem to the relationship.
But you have do this considering that it takes two to tangle, so you should try as much as possible to consider your partner involved, carry him/ her along in a manner of intelligence.
Failing to do this might hurt you at the very point you don't expect.
2. EXPERIENCES------ there is saying in a school of thought, "experience is the best teacher".
In my conclusion and believes, I quite agree with sayings', another school of thought says, "once beating, twice shy" I wouldn't say have gathered all the knowledge needed to get involve in a relationship but I can tell you that experience sometimes really helps and improve a person getting into another relationship to be prepared and also take precaution against past occurrence in order for it not to re-occur.
Also, experiences enables you learn from other peoples mistake to guide you along the relationship, it makes you want to do the right things , take the right decision and also makes you grow into man of maturity capable of handling situation that above young lovers can't.
In addition to this and sincerely speaking, there are quite enormous precautions you can take while you are in a relationship, a lot we see on TV's, more of it that we read on the internet and still more.
Note of warning, relationship is generally for everybody, but it depends on how your relationship, your comprehension and rational must come into play at any point your are into relationship, whether casual or serious, it must be part of your daily guide to making and getting result to good and righteous relationship.
3. LEARN TO LET GO------- If it is not working out in your relationship, after you might have tried every thing humanly possible to get your relationship back on track, I will suggest you learn to let go.
If you really love someone so deeply and your partner is not responding to your effort, I best advice you let go and let time work it out for you.
Time they say heals wound, hurts and pain.
Another thing is , you just have to know who you really want in your life, assuming you are involved with couple guys/ girls, this is a state of confusion in relationship, but you only have to make the right choice here, how?????????, well if someone you have spent time with, feels the same way you do over many months or years and you have taken the time ask the person if he/she wants to stay with you till death do you part, you shouldn't be wasting more of your time for time to be right.
Ask your relating partner if you guys want to be with each other for good and get your answer right away, so as to know where it is you stand in your relationship.
4. PUT YOUR LOVE TO TEST--------There numerous of movies and novels I have read, I can tell you that some of them ended on good note while others ended bad, some were conflicting and confusing and others were just not prepared, you really want to know your partner, you have to put him to the test, you have to understand the man/ woman you are involved with, if he/she is or not materialistic, loose, inconsistent, Temperament, pretence, overbearing, unthankful, lover of themselves, dependent or independent caring etc. You just have to know who your partner is.
This test doesn't necessarily apply to young lovers alone but it also applies to the married and the intending also.
You must know what you are looking for in a man or woman, we are not perfect and we also live in an imperfect world but it doesn't stop you from putting your love to rest sometimes.
If your partner fails, falls or falters to your test, give him/her another chance to make it up to you.
While you are doing this, kindly have at the back of your heart that we are humans and we are likely to make mistakes and some times costly mistake, but you have forgive him/her when you know that and give the benefits doubts.
5. REFLECTION------ often times we are so consumed in something so engaging that our consciousness is total absent of other vital things in and around us that we don't pay attention to
And when the sudden or the unexpected happens, we are caught unawares.
It is matter of concern that every thing that happens around us be given such detailed concern, this will involves our sub-consciousness in play
And our five (5) senses are taking all information into the very storage of our mind which will aid and also help us in recovery of things we need to reflect on
Our relationship doesn’t need a deep engagement before we take in account all the very happening around, with this it keeps us on track with what needs attention and also retrace our footsteps just incase you are treading on part wrong steps,
It could be you or your partner, but very vital is that once your relationship is dear to you, you must do every thing necessary to keep you relationship, affair, marriage.
Two of you must make this a success. It also doesn't hurt if you document the daily boring and action moment of your relationship if you are the type has a very low or weak retentive memory.
6. IF YOU PARTNER ISN'T RESPONDING, LET GO------
There are situation that some times arises that you really don't have answer to, more you don't know what to do after trying everything possible. To some who have tread on this path and some experience ones, will tell you that this is the final stop
what can you do, you ask yourself that question after trying everything humanly possible to make it work but your partner is generally not showing any interest to respond, well friend, this is a point where the truth is bitter pill to swallow but you
You have to swallow it nonetheless; it’s the truth that you have to face and make up your mind to face it. Often, some will ask you, if it is worth dying for, those questions sometimes don't help situation but it throws more emphasis to very point of your dilemma. There are some situations in relationship were both parties need a break which often does lead to ending the relationship. This cause maybe as a result of immaturity between this lovers and they need to move on because they see each other as nothing
Or they don't have anything to offer to each other. Some just turn or become boring to their partner because of the new experience from a new partner. While some are just adventurous in nature and they take relationship in same vein.
It is point to note here that a busy person hardly have time to relate or have time for relationship. Finally
I will to tell you that it is important to understand what you are getting yourself into. Don’t be swept off your feet by appearance or glitters is gold, but also take the time examine what you are getting yourself into, and if you are already into it, kindly follow this guide to the latter
And also be informed by reading and learn from others in order not to fall into same pit others have fallen.
Kindly post your comments and observation and question to my blog forum

BUILD UP AND COUNT DOWN TO SOUTH AFRICA 2010
The continent of Africa has been agog presently with a lot of football fiesta, about a year ago; we saw the football nations of African countries come together to slug out it in Ghana. i.e. the nation’s cup which is held every two calendar year of
CAF, the football governing body in Africa. Furthermore, another class of world cup was also held in EGYPT, the under twenty (20) and currently on in Nigeria is the under seventeen world cup (17) another part of FIFA organized program to discover raw talent and future greats. Africa has been really blessed this year and it has really improved the ability that African can do better when it comes to hosting organized games of this magnitude, over all, I think they have done very well, don't you think , it as been said that a game of such nature and importance can't be entrusted in their
hands due to her inabilities, violence, problems, inadequacies, wars etc. well with all the foreseen inadequacies, overall, they have not done badly, there have been major case as some expected that such will occur, I think in further future games as this, Africa should be given some if not much support of confidence of hosting rights.
This has also carried the habit of not falling to South Africa. The confederation games also sparked some thunders and lightning in some games and the stories are still fresh in are mind, a true prelude to the main event, I say. Now the world cup
This is an historical event, first of its kind in African continent. An African country bestowed with honour to host the world and the prestigious event that takes place every 4 years in the football calendar of the football governing body, "FIFA. The first of its kind on African soil, the very rare occasion that assembles great players from around the globe jostling for that single honour, the WORLD CUP"".
African ancestors and longed past heroes will have been privileged to witness this occasion in south Africa, despite the problem ravaging African continent, from drought, to famine, wars, coups, ethnic violence, pirates on ship seizures etc.
the event will not have come in better time than this, At a particular time south Africa was faced with strikes from workers due low level worker plight but that didn't dampen the hope and aspiration of Africa hosting its first ever world cup soccer fiesta although, this will have affected some hopes that this economical problem posed but all in all, south Africa has remained focused, unshaken prepared and ready to host the world.
Just some months back, we saw in a pre-game to the mundial (THE CONFREDARATION CUP),
How major winners from every Continent like BRASIL, SPAIN, ITALY, AMERICA, IRAQ, EGYPT, NEWZEALAND AND SOUTH AFRICA jostled for mini world cup. It had its spite and sparks, its highs and lows, the anticipated and the not so anticipated, the surprises and the sudden dishearten results, which are preludes to game proper. Yes the countries are ready rearing for battle and funny to say that it is grass that suffers its set backs, but on this occasion I think the grass itself are fully in top gear and ready to absorb much that the game can offer.
The mundial will not be completed without the very best of South Africa has to offer, the beautiful places tourist will visit, cuisine of different delicacies, the warmth and hospitality of its people. Culture and music of the land for music lovers, or just simply visit or tour the engulfing landscape and its wild life, the adaptation of foreign culture settling in, beautiful scenery. where do you plan on spending your next summer, the weather is right at that time and what could actually go wrong only the sudden and unplanned for but the game and its preparation, i authoritatively tell you that you are welcome."""", all hands are on deck.
All the countries are set and ready to go, the qualification series are already concluded in some part of the world. the prestige touch of this game has landed in south Africa, teams like Brazil, Germany, England, Argentina, Italy that have had there share most times of winning the world cup on several occasion are not left out, the question is, which country
Will lift the cup this time around. As plans towards the game is gradually unfolding and the stages are near completion, one thing is vital, you can't afford to miss out in this upcoming fiesta.
Only time will tell which country goes home with this trophy. I know some of you are certain of the team or country, but one thing is clear, there will be surprises, there will disappointment and more of the sudden. That is for sure.

How to Gain Self Imrprovement and Motivation
How do you know if anyone is willing to gain self improvement? This is a query with no right or wrong answer. It will all depend on the individual person.
Lots of people have ambitions, dreams & goals but do not know how to go about achieving them. They may have thought about what would make up self improvement & their ideal life, but have no idea how to even start to make the designs & take the actions required to make them a reality.
Some people have a rough idea on how to go about improving themselves. These are the people who believe that if only they had a better job, or had been given better opportunities, or met the love of their life, or got the lucky breaks, everything would be fine & they would be happy & content.
They feel that their happiness or lack of happiness is decided by outside factors & their thoughts & actions are of little consequence. They believe that they have the right to blame it on anything else but themselves.
They may have spent little time thinking about what they really require from life, & do n't actually believe there is anything they can do to generate their own little paradise, apart from buying more lottery tickets.
Some believe that if only they had more money they could have whatever they require & be on their way to self improvement.
Other people do not even know what they actually require from their lives & may even haven't got a clue as to what would really make them happy. They seem to drift from day to day, week to week, month to month, & year to year, & do little over about get by. Is that really how you would require to live your life?
They may have seemingly secure jobs for life & be earning a reasonable amount of money to live a comfortable life. They seem happy & have no great aspiration to accomplish anything more from their lives than they currently have.
Is self improvement & motivation that important?
The truth is that throughout our lives they are all forever growing & creating. Circumstances make us grow & create, even if they do not make the conscious decision to do so. Up to a definite age, they learn through formal education & they continue to learn through our experiences for the rest of our lives. They have to learn & grow to deal with everything that life throws at us. They all have to go through self improvement. & they all have to generate our own motivation.
Modern life moves at such a dramatic faster pace than at anytime in history. For anyone living in developed countries, there's more opportunities to do anything that you require to do with your life than ever before.
But there is also more competition than ever before, & ever changing technology means that there really are few, if any ‘jobs for life’ anymore. It is now regarded as normal not only to alter jobs every few years throughout our working lives, but even to alter careers & industries.
These are the people that will be most likely to keep their jobs, or progress within their selected field, or that will be readily employable in different organizations or industries.
Because the workplace is so very competitive, people who are hungry & ambitious to success know they require to learn new skills & knowledge to keep well ahead of the pack. To attain this, self improvement is needed.
A commitment to self improvement & personal growth may well be the deciding factor to in how anyone’s future will turn out.
Self improvement & motivation should always be embraced because, to lots of, it is the lifeblood of how they keep their minds & lives active. Constantly improving yourself can also be looked at being uninteresting, but if you have that drive & ambition your whole life will definitely improve. Your social life, your love life & your whole outlook will be fulfilled.
There could be three life. Let's live it to the full, embrace alter, challenge yourself & you will be amazed at what you can accomplish & although there may be regrets, it is a lot better than wasting away & being miserable.
living each day the same as the last destroys your outlook on life. You will look back in 5 or 10 years time & think to yourself, "what the hell have I completed?"
